It all began long ago in the hills of Transylvania, that ancient and mystical land of Eastern Europe, filled with legends, stories, and almost-forgotten traditional recipes that people once used to heal and care for themselves.

One of these powerful recipes eventually came into the hands of an anonymous monk in a hidden monastery. Wise enough to recognize its value, he not only used it but carefully wrote it down on parchment for the benefit of his congregation.

Through a fortunate chain of events — guided by luck, care, and perfect timing — the ancient parchment was beautifully preserved and recently made its way into our hands. We were immediately amazed by the simplicity and purity of the formula: completely raw, organic ingredients, straight from nature and the beehive.
